It seems to be trying to say that the world is just and that the truth will win out in the end, but its real message boils down to: Authority figures are unreasonable and won't believe you.

It's super wordy for young kids (actually, in general, really). It's a boring story with no real point to it, retold in a very authentic way, which means that it includes a bunch of words that nobody really cares about.

This book can be taken in a couple different ways. I definitely understand both of them.

It speaks to the shy little introvert in everyone, and talks about having the courage to do things that are difficult and that nobody else has ever done.

It kind of requires a little bit of mental gymnastics to get to that point, otherwise it basically ends up with the message of, "Everybody is an idiot."

It's sweet, simple, and gentle. It's definitely good for children who are into airplanes. It's an imaginative journey.

It's just kids having fun together and making something bigger than they are and playing with it, and having fun with their imaginations.

It shows that even small people who are clever can be helpful. And small people are presumably the audience of this book.

It's pretty. It's not a bad book, it's just there's no real message to it. It's just telling the story of something that happened to these people.

There's no point to this, no message, and no reason for its existence. It's not even bad enough to say anything interesting about.
