Are You My Mother?

Boring, repetitive book. A mother bird's egg is about to hatch, so she goes to get him some food. He hatches and she's not there. So he travels around asking various animals-- and machines-- whether they are his mother. Of course, they aren't. He gets in the shovel of an excavator and it lifts him up and puts him back in his nest, and then his mom comes home and he's happy. The end.

It's just not very interesting. It's brief. There aren't a lot of words, but the words that there are repeat themselves. It's too many pages. 64 pages is just too long for this story to go on.
