Camp! Grandparents! Fun!
It's cute. Two boys, friends, are staying at the home of the grandparents of one of the boys. The grandfather is really interested in penguins and Antarctica. They're staying there for a week while they go to nature camp during the day. The grandfather keeps trying to get them to go to the natural history museum to look at the penguins, but they don't. They go to camp, and hang out, and generally have fun the way kids do together. They play, make forts, have a popcorn party, and then on the last day they make a model of Antarctica to thank the grandfather and grandmother for letting them stay there.
It's nothing too deep, but it's still a good message. The art is fun to look at and interesting to the eye, with word balloons to read and lots of color. It's a pretty realistic portrayal of two boys hanging out together and the kinds of things they would say.
