Toddlers don't need to see their failures depicted in a book.
A little boy wants to put on all his clothes by himself and fails miserably at accomplishing that. Too much time passes, so his dad puts all his clothes on, and then they go to breakfast. The little boy wants to eat himself instead of letting his dad feed him, but he can't do that either. Then his father puts his sweater, hat, jacket, and boots on, and they go outside into the rain.
There's no real message, or story, here. It's a little bit silly, but not really all that funny.

This is not about failure of a father
But about the developmental challenges inherent of this age child and how any parent can feel frustrated.
